The Direwolf is an incredible creature, not only for combat but also for harvesting Hide and pelt at unbelievable rates. As it is usually found in the Snow Biome, it is the perfect tool for surviving the cold and frost-covered regions. Even better, the Direwolf can be tamed as soon as you reach the Mid-Game and it doesn't require a saddle. Compared to the other "pack" dinosaurs, this creature has the highest damage per set of attacks, so killing will be as easy as harvesting.
